Cheese. It's something we Americans love, but just don't know how to eat as well as Europeans. This was the problem we were asked to solve by Best Cheese, the US importer for Uniekaas Dutch cheeses and local distributor of Coach Farm fine goat cheeses.

Our solution was the Dairy Dial, an educational website that showcased how to best consume their vast cheese collection. Complete with recipes, food pairings and matching specific cheeses to meal-times, the Dairy Dial is not just a typical product site but also a useful consumer tool.

Recently we were asked by Best Cheese to name and design a new collection of hand-made cheeses based on old-fashioned recipes. The name 'Melkbus' means 'Milk Can' in Dutch, and nods to the original way farmers in Holland would sell or receive their milk. Each farmer had their own number stamped at the top of the can. Using this as our inspiration, our Melkbus cheese collection isn't name, but numbered, while the hand-drawn imagery evokes the handmade quality of the cheeses.
